LANSING – State Representative Marc Corriveau (D-Northville) will launch a special "Everyday Essentials" donation drive on Saturday, Oct. 17, to collect household and personal care products for local residents in need.
"In these tough times, too many of our families, through no fault of their own, are struggling just to make ends meet," Corriveau said. "No one should have to choose between putting food on the table and purchasing the essential household and personal care products that we all use and often take for granted every day. I encourage residents throughout our community to contribute whatever they can to lend a helping hand to our neighbors and friends who have fallen on hard times."
The "Everyday Essentials" drive will run from Saturday, Oct. 17 through Friday, Oct. 30. Residents are encouraged to donate household and personal care items such as, toilet paper, facial tissues, diapers, baby wipes, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, dental care items, and feminine care products.
